This concept appears after the success of coworking. It is a new housing model that consists of sharing a house and spaces with like-minded people where you can share work and life experiences.
Coliving was born in San Francisco, where two phenomena coincided: the shortage of housing and the arrival of many young professionals who came to the city wanting to socialise and live new adventures.
How does coliving work?
Coliving is based on renting a room, normally with its own bathroom, in a building that has multiple spaces and services in common with the rest of the tenants.
This new housing model is becoming increasingly common in large European cities, although Madrid and Barcelona are already opting for this type of alternative rental.
New formula: Built to rent
Built to rent is a new formula that is committed to building houses to rent. It is a trend that was born in the United Kingdom, but which quickly spread internationally.
As we have already mentioned, there is currently a great demand for rental housing. Young and not so young people have abandoned the idea of buying a property and are looking for quality rental housing in which to stay for a long period of time.

In short, the new Built to rent model, are large housing complexes created and designed to rent, with competitive prices and managed by companies.
