The Castle House of Bishop Natò, dating from approximately the year 1300, is an outstanding example of historical architecture in the heart of the Pedró de Rupia. Originally the bishop’s residence, this imposing structure is located adjacent to the Church and in front of the main entrance is a charming small square named after him, the Plaça de la Cúria.

Listed as National Heritage by the Generalitat of Catalonia, the Castle House of Bishop Natò stands out for its age and its integration into the town wall. The presence of the counterwall is evident in its structure, as well as its condition as a moat house, with the original water moat that formerly protected the town and that today occupies the space where two swimming pools are located: one for adults and the other for children.

The original architecture is carefully preserved in details such as the window that overlooks the Plaça de la Cúria, in the late Romanesque pre-Gothic style, and some windows that still show figures of angels at the top. The staircase has recently been restored, a process that took three years of waiting to obtain planning permission from Heritage. The restoration has been meticulous, preserving the original staircase with a visible part that adds a touch of authenticity to the property.

The Castle House of Bishop Natò offers a wide layout that includes eight bedrooms, six of them suites, seven bathrooms in total and two guest toilets. In addition, it has a spacious dining room-kitchen, five living rooms, a garage with capacity for three cars and modern amenities such as oil heating and an elevator.
